(Shreyas:Drummer/Lyricist/co-founder) : Basically my plan was to get a band together that played folk metal which had a global appeal and would reflect the Indian rich heritage lyrically. The songs are loosely based on Indian folklore , some on Space Dwellings and others on general ancient themes. Well , there was Sid(Rythms) and Chinmay(ex-lead) and myself, who met each other and had a common passion for Metal. I knew Sid long before since we played Squash together. I had already written 3 songs for a proposed folk project and after a few sessions , we came up with 2 songs completely composed. We asked our good friend 'Rajat Srivastava' to join in as Keyboards , who added the foundation(Summer of 2009). Earlier compositions were severely guitar driven. We uploaded a few videos of our jam sessions online and were met with decent response. After our then-lead-guitarist Chinmay left (October 2009) , the songs were re-composed from Scratch by Sid and Rajat , which were now more melodic , more technical and involving a lot of folk variations. As a 3-piece , we played a few gigs. Then , in the summer of 2010 we asked our long time friends Rishi Nandy(Lead Guitars) , Kunal Dey(Bass/Backing Vocals) and Tejas Dani (vocals) to join us and complete a Six-piece lineup.

We then played 3 shows (2 headline) and took a break to record the album "Heroic Ascension". We have successfully recorded 2 tracks and uploaded them Reverbnation.

We are still in process of writing songs and hopefully by the end of july , we will be releasing a self-produced full-length album.

with 'Warriors of Europa' for FREE DOWNLOAD. We had also released a LIVE Demo : "Rise of the Warlords" long before.

We plan to release our Full-length album before July 2011.
